My name is Sophia.
I grew up in Richmond, VA. I love to travel and constantly learn and experience new places and things. In my free time, I foster cats through the Henrico Humane Society, which is also one of my marketing consulting clients. The cat in the first picture is River, my second foster kitty, who was adopted and found a fur-ever home. I am currently on my 13th foster!
This page will tell you a bit more about my experience and the various skills that I have gained over the years.
Over the years I have gained a lot of experience in many different industries. I have worked in restaurants, jewelry, high-end fashion, formal wear, hospitality and digital marketing.
Through these various experiences I have become skilled in business operations, visual merchandising, digital marketing, sales and management.
My friends often call me the group historian because I'm always capturing moments through photos and videos. I have a passion for photography and enjoy editing pictures and videos to cherish our memories.
I gained valuable insights through the VCU Fashion Merchandising program, particularly in the marketing courses, which quickly became my favorite. During my junior year, I had the opportunity to apply for the accelerated Marketing Master's program, which I pursued full-time while simultaneously working as a full-time Marketing Coordinator. To further expand my skills, I also launched my own marketing consulting and freelance business.
